Inpatient Medicine - Team Based Care from Admission to discharge
Trinity Health Oakland (formerly St. Joseph Mercy Oakland) in Pontiac, Michigan is a 497 bed hospital featuring both Medical and Cardiac intensive care units, an onsite Long-Term Acute Care hospital, Inpatient Rehab and Level II Trauma center with robust specialty and subspecialty support. We are fully integrated with the Epic EMR System with real time patient data and secure messaging among our medical teams across mobile messaging platforms.

In order to meet learners when and where they have opportunities for focused learning, our program provides streamed conferences, board review materials, self-assessments and interactive modules to practice clinical and diagnostic skills.
Commitment to Ambulatory Care
Our Resident Continuity Clinic, Henderson Academic Primary Care provides safety-net care to an underserved population with on-site behavioral health, addiction medicine partners. We have 11 rooms, Telehealth Capability with on-demand translation services, and ongoing didactic curriculum focusing on Social Determinants of Health and Disparities.
